Project details: I created 2 full spread magazine layouts for the Eater Boston article about “The Best 38 Restaurants Around Boston.”
In this personal project, the goal was to strengthen my editorial layout skills by taking a Eater Boston article and reformatting it into a print version. I additionally added a map illustration of the Boston area, and illustrated 10 dishes from the restaurants recommended in the article. I explored readability, information hierarchy, and brand consistency in this project.

The second full spread layout, going into further depth about each restaurant recommended. It includes the spot illustrations beside the restaurant, area/neighborhood location, additional tips, and dollar signs to indicate costliness.
